Wild City of Amsterdam!

?Amsterdam is an exceptional city, in an absolutely stunning country. Not only is it a beautiful destination sought after by people all over the world, it is a unique city unlike any other. The red light district is world famous, and for a good reason! Leaving nothing to the imagination, the streets are filled with brothels and sex shops. But be careful, attempt to take a snap shot of these taboo acts, you’ll be in jail quicker than you can imagine.

Something else that you won’t find in America? Smoking marijuana and hash in the comfort of your own… coffee shop. There are very few restrictions. First of all, you must be 18 to enter. Secondly, each shop is only allowed to sell a maximum of 5 grams to each customer. With multiple coffeeshops on every corner, you are hardly limited. Everything sold in the coffeeshops are strictly regulated and taxed. Technically, smoking marijuana is illegal here, but authorities turn the other cheek. This is an incredible part of Amsterdam’s healthy economy.

All hard drugs – and the sale of soft ones, are strictly prohibited, and punishable. Understandably so… What else is illegal? Smoking tobacco in these coffeshops. While this might sound funny, a smoking ban in 2008 prohibits this.
